Rainmaker team at the Venice Biennale

Last week, Erin and I had the amazing opportunity to attend the pre-opening of the Biennale Arte 2024 di Venezia. It was a wonderful experience and we were especially thrilled to see the work of Choctaw and Cherokee artist Jeffrey Gibson, who emblazoned the United States pavilion with powwow inspired colour & pattern. In the above photos we share a brief snapshot of some of the Indigenous artworks on show (Jeffrey Gibson, Emmi Whitehorse, Kay WalkingStick). We also visited the studio of Addison Karl and the foundry where he casts his incredible Murano glass pieces. Visit our instagram feed to see more photos from our Venice trip @rainmakergallery.

Spring Showcase

The gallery walls are currently hung with the work of four talented Native artists, including fine art photographer Cara Romero and painters Randy L Barton and Rick Grimster. This colourful and uplifting

 runs until Saturday 18th May.

We look forward to seeing you at the talk on Friday!

With love,

Jo & Erin  xx
