Book now to hear Lucy Sadler, daughter of artist Rick Grimster, in conversation with gallery curator Jo Prince. Rick Grimster's parents were thrown together by war and torn apart by peace.Around 25,000 Native Americans served in World War II. Over two million American troops passed through Britain, fathering more than 22,000 children. Between one-third and one-half of the mothers were already married. More than 60,000 British women became GI brides.
