Last chance to see!
Our joyous spring show BELONGING is entering its final week. This debut exhibition by 77 year old Muscogee artist Rick Grimster has been an overwhelming success. Visitors have adored his abstracted landscapes, uplifting palette and playful style. Most of the paintings have already been snapped up but there are still a few available to purchase and every piece is a gem.
This unmissable show ends at 1 o'clock on Saturday 6th May. Catch it while you still can!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that attended the BELONGING exhibition event last month. The gallery was packed. The audience was moved to laughter and tears as Rick Grimster's daughter Lucy shared the family's compelling story of wartime romance, adoption and reconnection. It was a beautiful way to honour and celebrate the artist, his work and his family, past and present.
If you missed the talk, you can still read about Rick's story in the April issue of The Bristol Magazine. If you are not in Bristol drop me an email to request a copy of the article.

Rick's relatives in Oklahoma recently travelled to Bristol to see the exhibition.

Next time - read about Diné artist, DJ, dancer, fashion designer and social activist Randy L Barton from Arizona. His paintings will be on show at Rainmaker Gallery throughout the summer.
