Looking forward...
From mid-March until mid-May, we will be showcasing the work of three of our favourite artists - to be announced. In June, we celebrate the return of the incomparable Jason Wesaw (Pokagon Band of Potawatomi) for his second full exhibition at Rainmaker Gallery. Jason's first show 'Keeper's of The Fire' with Potawatomi elder Doug Klemm, was an astounding success. So we are especially thrilled to welcome him back and to see what exquisite works of art he has made for us this year. For those lucky souls who have read the beautiful book "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer (Citizen Potawatomi), you will no doubt be delighted to hear that she is to make an appearance at the Hay Festival, on Saturday, 1st June. We highly recommend her books to those of you who have not yet read them. They really are extraordinary! Finally, the spring equinox sees the launch of Bristol Gallery Weekend, 21st - 24th March, showcasing the contemporary art scene in Bristol with a rich programme of events at a variety of art spaces, galleries, artist run projects and private art collections. We will be offering free curator tours in the gallery to visitors who want a more in-depth experience of the art on show. That's all for now but do get in touch with any questions you may have. With love,Jo & Erin xx
