We are on the move!

'SHAMELESS' by Cara Romero
We Are On The Move!
After almost a year of uncertainty, fundraising and searching I am delighted to announce that Rainmaker is moving to a wonderful new gallery space!
This new beginning is only possible because of all the love and support from you our amazing customers, alongside a substantial grant from Bristol City Council.
Our new address will be
140 Whiteladies Road
,
Bristol BS8
2RS
. Our new home is bigger and in a prime location and I cannot wait to show you all!
We plan to open in early July with a brand new exhibition (details to follow in our next newsletter). Meanwhile, our Coldharbour Road gallery will be by appointment only as we get set up in our new space. Online business is unaffected, so feel free to browse and shop via the
or email [email protected] if you prefer an in-person experience.

Jewellery
Above is a small selection of splendid new jewellery that you can purchase on our website. The earrings are hand painted rawhide by Dominic Arquero of the Cochiti Pueblo tribe. His designs are inspired by his own pueblo culture alongside the Lakota material culture of his wife’s Oglala Nation, specifically tipis and parfleche designs. The earrings are embellished with tiny coloured crystals. They are super lightweight and every pair is signed by the artist. The Zuni bird fetish necklace is a three way collaboration by fetish carvers Vernon Lunasee and Roderick Tsabetsaye brought together by jewellery maker Rosanne Ghahate, all members of the Zuni Pueblo tribe. The birds are interspersed with tiny brown olive shell heishi beads and drilled turquoise nuggets, symbolic of earth, sky and water.A Rainmaker Gallery classic, the elegant Kewa Pueblo necklace is expertly hand crafted from Kingman Arizona turquoise by traditional bead maker Harvey Chavez and his wife Janie.See these beauties and even more fabulous jewellery on our website today.
Help us get up and running
Over the next few weeks I will be working hard to get everything in place for our relaunch. The new premises needed a lot of renovation and we were blessed with a great team of skilled trades people but they don't come cheap and the work is not yet finished. So, I am asking one last time for those of you who are in a position to make a donation, large or small, to participate in this new phase of Rainmaker Gallery by supporting our fundraiser:Go Fund MeWith deep gratitude and more than a little excitement!Jo xx
