Rainmaker Gallery is excited that the Royal Anthropological Institute returns to Bristol next week with its Film Festival. Now onto its 16th edition, the RAI Film Festival showcases the best ethnographic filmmaking from around the world at  

. We are delighted to see that, once again, Native American and First Nations filmmakers, stories, and issues are central to the RAI’s programme of screenings and events.

Highlights include:

EDGE OF THE KNIFE

Rainmaker Gallery is thrilled to see this ground-breaking film screened in Bristol. Edge of The Knife is written and co-directed by Haida artist Gwaai Edenshaw whose unique jewellery has been available from Rainmaker Gallery for many years.We are delighted that the 16th RAI Film Festival will open with Edge of the Knife, and that the film is the recipient of this year's President's Medal!William Mitchell Russ - one of the film's lead actors - will attend this screening to accept the Award, and take part in a Q&A.
